"Proti Dama" (Πρώτη Ντάμα) means 'first lady' in Greek language. This song is following the great tradition of Greek Rebetiko music - an urban style incorporating the folk elements in a modernity - whatever modernity means and whenever that happens. "Tomorrows mystery soon becomes history", as a friend of mine writes in his verses.

The song is really good. It has a nice fresh laiki sound to it. A little retro, but I like that. You should play it to some young Greeks and see what they think. The band sounds good too. You should form a permanent ensemble and work up some more songs like this.
